In addition to the competition, Pogoplaooza will feature world record attempts, a pogo stick expo and a free jump area where children and adults can try the world’s best pogo sticks, both classic and extreme. Hemming Park will also have local vendors, food trucks, refreshments, music and more.
Rummage sale sponsored by Riverside Park Apartment Residents Council to raise funds for holiday events for the seniors who live there.
North Florida Land Trust is hosting their 4th Annual Fish Fry at Big Talbot Island on Saturday, June 6. Festivities get underway at 3 p.m. and continue until sunset. Participants can enjoy marsh views, delicious food, live music from Cain’t Never Could and Hard 2 Handle, lawn games in the backyard, a free guided nature hike with Big Talbot Island State Park Staff starting at 4 p.m., or a sunset guided kayak paddle with Kayak Amelia at 6 p.m. (Equipment rentals are available through Kayak Amelia at www.kayakamelia.com or call 904-251-0016. The trip is free with your personal equipment).
Treemendous BBQ will be providing the food. Fish, chicken, pork or portabello dinner plates are available for $15 per plate. Tickets can be purchased at www.nfltfishfry.eventbrite.com. Week # 7 July 20 – 24, 2015: Sewing Week ~ Participants will bring home something unique.
Week # 8 July 27 – 31, 2015: Art Week – Working on Sketching, Watercolor & Painting.

Grades 1-6 runs June 8 through July 24; Grades 6-9 runs July 27-31
Elementary school camp includes hands-on activities in printing, drawing, painting and working with clay, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with extended care hours before and after at an additional cost.
