Hope For a Better Life, Inc., is throwing a Party with a Purpose. “Purses and Pumps with a Purpose”, will be held Friday, October 2, 2015, at the UNF University Center, to benefit Hubbard House.
The program will consist of a Dejavu Fashion Show, hosted by Jennifer Candelino, dinner, silent auction and a special “Men Walking in Our Shoes”, featuring local celebrities. All proceeds from this event will help raise awareness about domestic violence and funding for The Hubbard House. Tickets are still on sale at www.hopeforabetterlife.com.

Ferry Fest is back during a cooler month and with a twist…it will begin with an Adventure Quest in Ft. George Island. Up to 100 teams will be shuttled into position for timed challenges (mostly mental), with the top finalists in each category competing in trivia live from the Ferry Fest stage, where bands and performances will be scheduled throughout the day, with support from food trucks, arts & crafts vendors, a kids play area and more!
