In addition to sampling signature dishes from the top Jacksonville chefs, Signature Chefs also features exciting and interactive silent and live auctions with a program emceed by Bruce Hamilton, Co-Host of Good Morning Jacksonville on WJXT-TV Channel 4.

Gather your friends and co-workers to sponsor a table where you will work as a team to help package meals for Hunger Fight during three food packing sessions. The meals are distributed to hungry children and families in Northeast Florida and South Georgia.
Ortega United Methodist Church is hosting the 3rd Annual Ryan’s Run – a 5K Run/Walk & Celebration of Life on Saturday November 14th, 2015 in memory of Ryan Perry, to benefit the church and it’s children’s ministries! A one-mile fun run will take place at 9am. The 5k will start at 9:30am on Iroquois Ave behind the church offices, run though the beautiful tree-lined Ortega neighborhood streets, and then finish in the church’s courtyard with a post-race celebration, including food, refreshments, and games for the entire family.
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Ryan D. Perry Endowment at OUMC, and the church’s goal of growing children’s ministries in the community. Join us in remembering Ryan and running for the church!

Susan Parker, Ph.D., executive director of the St. Augustine Historical Society and a former historian and preservation consultant with the Florida Department of State, will give a presentation on the research she has conducted on the religious objects. The presentation is entitled, “Unburied Treasure of St. Augustine – Sacred Vessels on loan from Boston Museum of Fine Arts.” The public is invited to attend the presentation and view the exhibit on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Mission Nombre de Dios Museum.
The museum is open to the public Thursday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The exhibit from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts will be on display for at least a year.
