On September 11 and 12 Daily’s will offer a free Daily’s Dash sandwich to any First Responder – police, firefighter or military – in uniform. On either day, men and women in uniform can stop into any of the 14 Jacksonville Daily’s Dash locations for a free sandwich of their choice. No additional purchase necessary.
Starting on September 11 and running through the remainder of 2016, First Responders in uniform will receive discounts on popular items off the Daily’s Dash menu. For breakfast, the Piled High – a delicious egg, cheese, all natural bacon or all natural pork sausage, on a southern style biscuit – will be only $1.50 (regular price of $1.99). The savings continue during lunch when men and women in uniform will receive any regularly priced lunch sandwich for only $3 (regular price $4.99-$6.99).
Community Bible Study (CBS) is an interdenominational study open to all believers and seekers. Our mission is “to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth bible study, available to all.”
This year our 30-week study will be on Corinthians 1 and 2. We offer women’s, men’s, teen’s and children’s classes. Our children’s program is a structured bible study using age appropriate materials for each age. Newborns to teens are welcomed.
Registration fee is $35 for adults and $10 for each child. Fee includes all materials for class. Scholarships are available.

This class introduces the basic concept and functions of social networking sites including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Goodreads.
Ennis Davis, urban planner and co-founder of MetroJacksonville and Transform Jax, will present “Murray Hill: Past, Present, and Future” at the Murray Hill Library, 918 Edgewood Avenue S. on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 p.m. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Murray Hill Library in celebration of Murray Hill’s Centennial.
This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, finger plays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building and comprehension. Arts & Crafts or Open Play following program. Early literacy toys ranging from building blocks to dinosaurs will be made available. Caregivers must stay with children at all times.
