Ameris Bank, the largest community bank by deposit market share in Jacksonville, is proud to carry on the tradition of the Jacksonville Marathon, the oldest marathon in the city. This year celebrates the 34th year of the race.
The Ameris Bank Jacksonville Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and one of the fastest courses in the country due to shaded routes and flat planes.
Runners can register for the marathon, half-marathon or 5k race. All entrants will receive moisture wicking shirts and a race results bib. Large medals will be awarded to all finishers.
To register for the marathon or learn more information, visit www.amerisbank.com/Jacksonville-marthon/.
“Go Tell It” will be presented by the Chancel Choir and members of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in the sanctuary. Free and open to the public.
Annual lighting of luminaria throughout the neighborhood. An unsponsored parade of bicycles and vehicles also occurs throughout the historic district. Be safe, watch for pedestrians!
