This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.
Pet adoption fees, which range from $50-$125, will be waived for the four days of this Memorial Day special. Pets will be available for adoption at the Jacksonville Humane Society shelter – 8464 Beach Blvd. Friday, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and special holiday hours of 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday. Some additional fees may apply.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.

In collaboration with the City of Jacksonville, the Memorial Park Association presents, A Memorial Concert to be held in Memorial Park. On the eve of Memorial Day, the Memorial Park Association will host a FREE two hour concert, honoring all Americans who died while in the military service.
The FREE concert will feature the U. S. Navy Ceremonial Band (Navy Band Southeast) AND Don‘t Miss a Beat All Stars
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or folding chairs and can bring their own picnic to enjoy during or after the concert. Everyone is also encouraged to wear RED, White & BLUE!
Picnics can be pre-ordered through Cool Moose Cafe’ or Black Sheep Restaurant.
