Day of the Girl is a day all about girls, with workshops focusing on
- budgeting & saving,
- healthy eating,
- entrepreneurship,
- STEM,
- leadership and more.
The event is free and open to girls ages 11 – 18 years old.
Day of the Girl provides girls with a holistic, girl-centered approach to the Junior Achievement concepts of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and career readiness.
Day of the Girl is a subprogram under Junior Achievement’s JA Girl$ initiative. JA Girl$ and partner organizations, companies, and local entrepreneurs will facilitate workshops on topics of concern for girls primarily in middle and high school grades.
Each workshop will encourage and inspire girls to make decisions now, to help ensure a brighter future. The day will also feature a career fair and will provide a healthy snack and lunch.
Free to summer camps, organizations and individual girls. Limited space. Registration at www.JAjax.com.
This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.
The Summer Lunch Program provides free meals to children 18 years of age and younger.
The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is a low impact physical activity program proven to reduce pain and decrease stiffness. The sessions include gentle range-of-motion exercises that are suitable for every fitness level and ability. Led by a trained program leader, these enjoyable and motivational classes may be taken either standing or sitting in a chair.

What do you get when you combine a harmonica, didgeridoo, ukulele, mountain dulcimer and washboard? Mr. Eric!! Come along on a magical, musical adventure featuring a world of instruments. For children ages 5-12
This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
