A Program of Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) the Riverside Arts Market celebrates the arts and our Northeast Florida community. The weekly market features live music, food, art, fresh produce under the canopy of the Fuller Warren Bridge. Open Mic night is a monthly event for youths in Jacksonville that gives them a chance to perform in front of their peers and the community. The event attracts creative kids from around the city who want to participate in performance art. It’s a lively, energetic event that gives kids a chance to share their performances of poetry, singing, acting or rapping, etc.
Family friendly, suggested donation $5. Pizza, snacks, drinks available for purchase.

You’re invited to take an oil painting class taught by Susan Astleford. Nationally recognized painter and Jacksonville resident, Susan has taught water-soluble oil classes to adults for seven years around the United States.

This program is for children 0 to 5 years with an adult caregiver. This program includes songs, stories, and instruments that promote basic musical concepts and terminology while incorporating pre-literacy skills for reading and writing.

The one-hour classes meet twice a week for eight weeks.
Participants learn balance skills, good body alignment, and coordinated fluid movements to increase flexibility and strength, reduce falls, and improve fitness. Movements performed seated or standing (canes & walkers okay)
There is NO CHARGE to attend but class size is limited.
