The next training class of braille volunteers is forming now. Volunteers attend a free nine-month classroom course on how to transcribe printed text into braille or to convert pictures into raised images that can be interpreted through touch. Classes meet every Thursday 9:30 am-12 noon beginning September 6th. While no computer is needed for converting graphics, braille transcribers must own a Windows computer.
