Join the Museum every Tuesday and Thursday for a guided tour of the historic Cummer Gardens, beginning in the Museum lobby.

Beginning Thursday, January 10th, join us every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m. for a fast-paced 30-minute walk in downtown Jacksonville, led by Friends of Hemming Park staff. We will meet near the “Opposing Forces” sculpture in Hemming Park at the corner of  Monroe and Laura Streets. Before You Tie the Knot – A dynamic premarital program for couples who are striving to start their marriages out right.

WHY:  SMART Couples Florida classes are a series of FUN, FREE relationship strengthening classes designed to teach you how to communicate your needs, listen to the needs of others, successfully resolve conflicts, and maintain happy and healthy relationships with those in your life.  Couples will receive a light meal and incentives for participation.

This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.

Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
