Checkmate for chess champions
The 25th Annual Jacksonville Scholastic Chess Championship was held Feb. 11 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in San Marco. The tournament, sponsored by North Florida Sinus Center, drew 127 scholastic chess players and 23 chess teams to compete.
