Annual gingerbread display doesn’t disappoint
The builders and sponsors of more than 30 gingerbread creations for the 13th annual Gingerbread House Extravaganza hosted by the Jacksonville Historical Society were honored at a preview party on Dec. 2 at Old St. Andrew’s Church. The houses are on display from now through Dec. 23, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Parking is free; a donation of $5/adult and $3/child over age three is suggested.

Third grade students at St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School rendered the Ribault Monument surrounded by baskets of fruit and vegetables.

Students in grade 3 to 6 at San Jose Episcopal Day School created a replica of their historic campus, complete with nativity scene front left and luminaria made from pasta shells.
