Big changes coming to Roosevelt Square Mall
A new rendering for what Dewberry Capital is calling Ortega Park. In the background, far right, is the Ortega Yacht Club Condominium with what appears to be a shorter residential complex in front of it (Lakeside Drive separates the two properties).
Signs have been posted recently at entrances to the Roosevelt Square Mall that indicate residential may be part of the plan. While sources at Dewberry Capital aren’t forthcoming with details at this time, renderings indicate a pedestrian-friendly open-air mall with sidewalk-style vendors, more landscaping and some new buildings on the property.
