New neighbor on the way for Historic Avondale
Demolition was concluding Wednesday morning in the Shoppes of Avondale in preparation for a 7,000-plus square foot combination coffee shop, wine bar, market and art gallery. Southern Grounds & Co will include 187 seats and has been the focus of both excitement– it will replace vacant storefronts — and apprehension as its footprint is larger than many of the surrounding merchants and businesses.
