Hats of all shapes, colors and styles will adorn party-goers at the Ritz Chamber Players’ Inaugural Hat Luncheon on May 30, 2015. The Ritz Chamber Players, founded and based in Jacksonville, is an exceptional group of musicians who are African-American and hail from prestigious orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony and London Symphony. This is the first large event fundraiser being mounted by the nonprofit music group now in its thirteenth season.
The inaugural event is set for 11:30 a.m. on May 30, 2015, at the Garden Club of Jacksonville. Tickets are available at ritzchamberplayers.org. Single tickets are $75 and a table of eight is $600. The Hat Luncheon is being presented by Florida Blue with additional support from Bank of America, Kilwins, Nancy & Gary Chartrand and Monica & Bob Jacoby.
