A buffet lunch begins at 12:00noon, with the general meeting starting at 12:30pm and the Program beginning around 1:00pm. Meetings end by 1:30pm. Guests and visitors are always welcome ($25 for lunch and the meeting).

On Saturday, May 7 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., fans of all ages will be thoroughly entertained by all things comic. From costume contests, scavenger hunts, and comic artists to board games and crafts, there will be fandom fun for everyone.
11 a.m. – noon – Natalie Nixon, aka Moxie McGriff, will be there with her latest Moxie McGriff adventure, “Moxie McGriff Saves the Library.”
2:30 – 1:30 p.m. – UNF Professor Katie Monnin, Ph.D. will present Comics 101.
2 – 3 p.m. – Costume Contest.

Celebrate Jacksonville Public Library and Duval County Public School’s historic partnership with a party for Hogan Spring Glen Elementary students. Children will have an opportunity to meet their local librarian, make crafts and use their student card to check out books!
