This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.
This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.

Calling all cooks and crafters! Backyard BBQ competition with $25 entry fee, craft show and health fair. Craft space is $20 for 10×10. Everyone is welcome! Free entry for spectators and a charge for VIP treatment (STBA). To benefit Ben’s Place, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving individuals in Northeast Florida with developmental or acquired disabilities.

Mixed media artist Tony Wood will be the featured speaker.
Tony is well known for his portrayal of people, faces and the human figure. He
has won many awards and was named Artist in Residence for Duval County. The
January 21st demonstration will cover building a foundation for collage that will
add depth, texture and dimension to any work. Tony will demonstrate how to
enhance the story and statement each artist brings to their creation.

All teens ages 12-18 are invited to attend this program dedicated to the memory of Anne Frank. We will explore historic and current events through an interesting photo activity, and create personal journals to take home.

Omega Park is the host site for a six week baseball camp starting January 15. U.S. Baseball Academy site director Shannon Wofford will direct the program. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to seven players per coach. One-hour sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning.
