Storytime is a program that promotes language development, vocabulary building and comprehension using fun interactive activities, including finger plays, stories and songs. It is designed for children ages birth – 5 years with a caretaker.

The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is a low impact physical activity program proven to reduce pain and decrease stiffness. The sessions include gentle range-of-motion exercises that are suitable for every fitness level and ability. Led by a trained program leader, these enjoyable and motivational classes may be taken either standing or sitting in a chair.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.

Qawwali, a musical tradition that dates back to the late 13th century, is a style of Muslim devotional music that today is particularly associated with Sufism. The members of the Riyaaz Qawwali ensemble represent the unique diversity of South Asia. Now settled in the United States, these musicians hail from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. Open Mic night is a monthly event for youths in Jacksonville that gives them a chance to perform in front of their peers and the community. The event attracts creative kids from around the city who want to participate in performance art. It’s a lively, energetic event that gives kids a chance to share their performances of poetry, singing, acting or rapping, etc.
