The Jax Harmony Chorus, a Sweet Adelines group, rehearses every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Open houses are held every 4th Tuesday but you are welcome any time! As a member of the chorus, you will belong to a worldwide family of friends who value the joy of singing chord-ringing, fun-filled harmony.

Virginia College in Jacksonville will host a Career Fair Friday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the campus located at 5940 Beach Blvd. The event is free and open to the public and will feature career development opportunities, refreshments and giveaways. Also, event attendees 18 and older can enter to win prizes such as a Chromebook or four $25 gift cards. Members of the community planning to attend must register with the campus prior to the event by calling 904-520-7400.
This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
