Please come prepared to share your ideas for how we can continue to improve Hemming Park: we welcome your input! Friends of the park, downtown residents and business owners and anyone interested in Jacksonville’s urban core is encouraged to attend this important community meeting. Learn how to write an effective resume that showcases your skills, talents and experience even if you have little or no job history. Create a new resume or update your current resume using free templates and tools provided by your public library. This program is designed to aid adults in the workforce, young adults just entering the workforce or anyone wishing to make themselves more marketable in our growing economy. All programs are free and open to the public.
This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.

Three-hour personally-guided tour with Architect Richard Skinner. Visit three homes on the First Coast with commentary by the Cummer Museum’s Director & CEO Adam Levine on the owners’ artwork and the museum’s tradition of marrying architecture and the natural environment.
