Trees and Stormwater Public Meeting @ San Marco Preservation Hall

The City of Jacksonville, in partnership with the Florida Forest Service and Green Infrastructure Center, will host a seminar to introduce the upcoming grant to study the urban tree canopy’s effect on stormwater and water quality in the City.

Murray Hill Community Book Club @ Fishweir Brewing Company

The club’s first book will be a debut novel by Hank Green called An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.
This is a fast-paced, suspenseful novel with some great relevant themes to discuss such as the power of rhetoric, fame, fear and social media. All are welcome!

Pastel Drawing Class @ Murray Hill Art Class

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.

Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
