The City of Jacksonville, in partnership with the Florida Forest Service and Green Infrastructure Center, will host a seminar to introduce the upcoming grant to study the urban tree canopy’s effect on stormwater and water quality in the City.
The club’s first book will be a debut novel by Hank Green called An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.
This is a fast-paced, suspenseful novel with some great relevant themes to discuss such as the power of rhetoric, fame, fear and social media. All are welcome!
Lee Weaver, a St. Augustine based author and
performer will present his one-man show.
The two hour presentation, with a 15 minute intermission,
where wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The
performance is provided free of charge by the generosity of the
Dr. Larry and Kathy Kanter Fund for Jewish Preservation and
the St. Augustine Jewish Historical Society
The REL school counselors and financial aid officers will be on hand to assist students and parents with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This event is open to the public from 9:00-10:00 a.m.

This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
