RareSong, a versatile Renaissance ensemble that specializes in music of the 16th-century, will present “Christmas on the First Coast.”
RareSong consists of seven professionally-trained musicians performing vocally and instrumentally using period-appropriate instruments such as recorders, viola da gamba and harpsichord. They bring the past to life through lively and beautiful music, costumes and a little drama. Founded in 2015, this ensemble has presented thirteen concerts in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Green Cove Springs, and Penney Farms.
There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be taken.

The Jax Harmony Chorus, a Sweet Adelines group, rehearses every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Open houses are held every 4th Tuesday but you are welcome any time! As a member of the chorus, you will belong to a worldwide family of friends who value the joy of singing chord-ringing, fun-filled harmony.
Join the fun as library staff share St. Nick stories and songs, and a visit with Santa Claus. While every effort will be made to ensure participants get a photo with Santa, the program will end promptly as Santa has other stops to make!
