Tap into Tapas Tuesday sponsored by VyStar Credit Union at the Cummer Café. Every Tuesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on the Cummer Café patio, take in the sunset while listening to local musicians with beer, wine, or artfully inspired tapas for sale at the Café. Reserve your table by calling 904.899.6022.

The event is free and open to the public, as the community is invited to experience a day in the life of a Virginia College student. The event will feature refreshments, campus tours, program demonstrations, admissions presentations and a meet-and-greet reception. Attendees will be entered to win prizes such as t-shirts and Amazon gift cards. Members of the community planning to attend must call 904-520-7400 to register with the campus prior to the event.

The event will also allow attendees to explore the programs offered through Virginia College, including: Business Administration, Business Office Specialist, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Office Management, Network Engineering, Network Technician, Pastry Arts, Pharmacy Technician and Sales Professional programs.

The event is part of Virginia College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national Bring a Friend Events being held at 65 other Virginia College, Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute and Ecotech Institute locations throughout 18 states.
