OneJax is offering training to facilitate small group conversations!
OneJax is offering training focused on the nuts and bolts of facilitating great small group conversations. Our 2018-19 programs will feature more opportunities for dialogue, and we want to make sure that each experience is a great one for all participants. Having facilitators at the table — ready to support discussions about important community issues — is essential.
The Jax Harmony Chorus, a Sweet Adelines group, rehearses every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Open houses are held every 4th Tuesday but you are welcome any time! As a member of the chorus, you will belong to a worldwide family of friends who value the joy of singing chord-ringing, fun-filled harmony.
Join us for an exceptional evening to celebrate the completion of a new mural by local artists, Mark Ferreira of Centism Design, Dustin Harewood, and Shaun Thurston on the Cummer Museum campus. Manny’s Cuban Food Truck and GuanaBana Ice Pops & More will be selling delicious food and refreshing treats. Local musicians will keep up the party mood with live music. There will be an opportunity to learn firsthand from the artists about their inspiration and artwork!

This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
