Pastel Drawing Class @ Murray Hill Art Class

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.

Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.

Medals for all registered 1-mile finishers and collector medals for the first 2,000 5-mile finishers.
Awards for top male & female runners in a variety of categories and ages.
A historic course over two bridges and along tree-lined streets.
5 miles is the perfect training run two weeks before the Gate River Run!
A fun-filled street fair with food and giveaways. Strollers welcome (must start at back of race).

The cost is $20 to attend and the deadline to register is Friday, February 17th. (Late registration is $25) This fee includes a light lunch, snacks and handouts.

Pawscars Free Adoption Event @ PetSmart Regency Center

Hundreds of award-worthy pets from JHS and ACPS will be available. Adopters will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet and have a glamorous “going home” photo snapped by the paw-parazzi.

People can visit jaxhumane.org/letsgohome for a sneak preview of JHS’ all-star cast of talented dogs and cats.

All adoptions will be free. Additional fees, such as a city rabies licensing fee for Duval County residents, may apply.
