This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.

Riverside Avondale Preservation’s April First Friday supports the neighborhood’s art culture at CoRK Art District. Kick-off the weekend with lite-bites, refreshments and live music by Darren Ronan. RAP will also recognize local artist Nicole Holderbaum for the incredible, unique work she recently completed reimaging the basketball court at Riverside Park into a place of art and an inspiration of creativity to the young people who play there. |
The event is a weekend of all things herbal, to include lunch with appetizers to desserts, vendors with Soap, Seasonings, Dips, Jams and Jellies, Bees and Honey, Pressed Floral Designs, Herbal Cards, Yard Art, Hypertufa Pots, Antique Roses, Berry Bushes, Olive Trees, Scented Geraniums, unusual and hard to find herbs. Admission is free and open to the public. For insurance purposes, please leave your animals home. Cunningham’s Herbs does cash or check only. Some vendors may offer credit card, but in the past most do not.

Duval County Extension Master Gardeners are holding plant clinics on three upcoming Saturdays in March and one in April at various locations throughout Duval County. They will be available to answer your gardening questions, provide informative publications on gardening subjects and collect soil samples for pH!
