Historic properties have unique charm, craftsmanship and also a special process to renovate them. Both residential and commercial renovations within Historic Districts of Jacksonville require a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) from the City of Jacksonville. Learn about that process, what requires a COA and what does not, and how to be most efficient with your time when it comes to renovating a historic property.
Join the City of Jacksonville’s Planning and Development Department staff for an informative presentation on the COA process, with time to ask your questions!
The doors will open at 5:30pm, the program will run from 6-7pm.
The Jax Harmony Chorus, a Sweet Adelines group, rehearses every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Open houses are held every 4th Tuesday but you are welcome any time! As a member of the chorus, you will belong to a worldwide family of friends who value the joy of singing chord-ringing, fun-filled harmony.
