The Ixia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will hold its monthly General Meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Regency Square Library. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation “Sierra Club Seven: crucial conservation concerns that affect us all.” The featured speaker is Jonathan Brainard, education chair, Suwanee-St. John’s Sierra Club. Mr. Brainard is a life-long Florida resident who retired from a career teaching exceptional education, science and gifted studies, to concentrate on helping to move Florida forward environmentally.
