Executive leadership changes in nonprofit organizations can be daunting. However, when managed effectively and efficiently, these transitions can maintain and even strengthen the organization, especially if planned for BEFORE the change happens. This three-hour session defines succession planning and provides a framework for what should be done before, during and after the transition occurs. Take-aways include preparation to assure the nonprofit is stable and secure, transition roles, and key elements of successful transitions.
Who should attend? Board members, CEOs / Executive Directors, Transition and Search Committees, Funders – anyone who is concerned with the long-term success of a nonprofit organization.

Congregation Ahavath Chesed is proud to host the fifth Annual Jewish Food Festival on Sunday, May 1, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Matzo ball soup, corned beef sandwiches, kugel, kishke and kreplach are just some of the delicious dishes that will be available. The “All You Can Nosh” format returns, so bring your appetite. Individual tickets are $20, and a family bundle – good for up to two adults and children (16 and younger) in your family – costs $50. Children under age 3 will be admitted for free. All festival events are held indoors, including a Kids Zone, which will have child-friendly food and activities.
Bubbe’s Bake Off, an annual highlight of the festival, returns. There’s only one category this time, but there are two divisions – adults and children (13 and younger). Another favorite, the L’Chaim Wine Wall, filled with wines of all varieties, also returns.
The festival is The Temple’s largest fundraiser, and it would not be possible without the support of the many sponsors and vendors. For more information, contact Sarah Fraden at srfraden@yahoo.
