The Community First Thanksgiving Distance Classic is set for November 23, 2017 at 7 a.m. and will take runners through the streets of Mandarin to Pickwick Plaza. Monetary prizes, up to $500, will be awarded to the top runners in the half marathon. Finisher medals will be given to runners who complete the half marathon, 5K and the Turkey Trot. Join the Museum every Tuesday and Thursday for a guided tour of the historic Cummer Gardens, beginning in the Museum lobby.

Instructor Rebecca Campbell will help participants form a simple slap into a 3D landscape by adding texture and detail. Workshops are $60 each, which includes the glazing and firing of any work made.

This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.
