Historic Avondale
Music in Avondale takes place the last Friday in every month, 6pm – 9pm.
$10 covers your yoga class and 1 pint of beer, Kombucha, or sparkling water, the pint following the 1 hr All Levels Yoga practice. These Postures+Pints Sunday classes supports local small businesses, charities, and the community and participants have a lot of fun doing it.

Featuring live music, art, entertainment, food trucks and more, First Wednesday Art Walk returns October 6 at James Weldon Johnson Park.
Monthly workshop hosted by North Florida Poetry Hub is open to any form of writing: fiction, poetry, diary, essay, play, stand-up comedy, rap, speech, etc. We offer a forum for the writer to be heard and, if desired, receive feedback. Any genre or style of writing is welcome, from the mainstream to the avant-garde. The craft doesn’t have to be a solitary pursuit. Come share your words with others and feel yourself a part of a community! Your words matter! Writing prompts are also a favorite activity at this workshop.
