Omega Park is the host site for a six week baseball camp starting January 15. U.S. Baseball Academy site director Shannon Wofford will direct the program. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to seven players per coach. One-hour sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning. Explore the aspects of creating with clay off the wheel. You’ll become very comfortable working with coils, pinch pots and slabs.  You will learn to use underglazes for decoration  Instructor provides guidance for all levels of experience with special attention to newcomers.  Experienced potters may pursue independent projects.

Please wear comfortable cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.  You may want to bring an apron to wear and please leave your fine jewelry at home.
