We’re having a literary pumpkin contest!
Your pumpkin must be a book inspired CHARACTER or SCENE. Pumpkins may be carved or painted and accessories are acceptable. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate! (Please keep in mind that this is a family event.) Pumpkins may be brought to the bookstore anytime from October 24th-31st and will be featured in our store window. Votes will be counted as individual likes on each photo posted on this event! Share the event to help get votes for your Jack O’Lit!

Join Instructor Rebecca Campbell in a three-part ceramic workshop series to learn and construct beautiful customized ceramic artwork. Participants will be led through a step-by-step construction of hand-built planters that resemble a stump with a face. Workshops are $60 each, which includes glazing and firing of any work made.

This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.
One-on-one assistance with downloadable media, email, the Internet, online applications, and basic technology instruction. This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
